SIS Celebrates 30 Years in Business!
Thirty years ago, Seminar Information Service started off as a place to help training and personnel directors find the right seminars and training for their staff.
The first SIS WORKBOOK had 1900 seminars listed - the service, now completely on the Internet has grown to over 360,000 seminars given by over 600 seminar sponsoring organizations.
"Now as the premier location for finding training on the Internet we have been able to reach not only the corporate training professionals but individuals who are looking to take a seminar to increase their skills or get the latest state-of-the art information" says Catherine Bellizzi, President and co-founder of Seminar Information Service, Inc.
"Who would have thought that an idea we had 30 years ago would still be a vital service that helps thousands of individuals each year but then we were on the cusp of the information age" adds Mona Piontkowski, EVP and co-founder. "We are delighted to have helped so many people over these 30 years and hope to continue to help the individual find a seminar that is right for him or her."

Show Seminars on Your Website
Would you like to show upcoming, local seminars on your own website? We're happy to introduce the SeminarInformation.com Custom Search Widget, which allows you to easily display upcoming seminar information under the look and feel of your company or organization's site.
The Custom Search Widget lets you run any standard seminar search from the SIS website, defining keywords and city/state or zip code. You can also specify the search radius (from 5 to 100 miles) and the numbers of results you'd like to display (10, 25, or 50). Once you're satisfied with the search you've set up, just enter a few pieces of information to save it, and you'll be given a bit of code (JavaScript) to include on your website. Your page will immediately display up-to-date seminar results that match your search parameters, and those results will automatically be updated as our data is updated.
To set up your Custom Search Widget and leverage our database of over 600 seminar providers, just click here to get started. The whole process takes only a few minutes.

New Feature: Recently Viewed Seminars
If you're a regular visitor to SeminarInformation.com, you probably noticed that we launched a complete site redesign back in August. The core point of the redesign was to focus the site around search, making it easier than ever to narrow and revise your searches to find the most relevant, local seminars.
At the same time, though, we added a few new features. One of those is the "Recently Viewed" seminar box. If you click through a couple of seminar listings, you'll see something like this pop up near the top-left of the site:

The "Recently Viewed" box shows the last 3 online seminar brochures you've viewed, with the most recent seminar appearing at the top. Just click on any of those links to jump back to a previous seminar page. This feature will appear automatically – you don't need to sign in or do any additional setup.
We hope this feature makes navigating and comparing seminars easier than ever. If you have any questions about the new site or new features, or if you have suggestions for features, please don't hesitate to contact us.
