Seminar Information Service, Inc. (SIS) is committed to protecting your
privacy and has developed this privacy statement in order to demonstrate our
firm commitment to your privacy. To make your search and registration sessions
more convenient, we gather information from you. We maintain the privacy of
your information using security technologies and adhere to policies that prevent
unauthorized use of your personal information.
1. Search and Enrollment.
Searching and registration on our Site is completely optional. If a user chooses
to enroll, the enrollment form requires information including your name,
e-mail address, mailing address, credit card details (number and expiration
date), telephone and facsimile numbers. At your option, you may store this information
on our secure servers, thereby saving your time on future registrations. We
use the information provided on the registration form to facilitate your registration
with the Provider. Financial information, when provided, is used solely to bill
users/registrants for Services ordered.
2. Future Information Requests.
At a future date, we might request additional information from you. You may
choose not to provide this information, although some products and services
may not be available to you unless you provide the additional information. We
might also ask for information about your interests or for feedback about our
Site, so that we can tailor your search and registration sessions to improve
our Site. Providing us with this information is always optional.
3. Use of Information Collected.
In addition to the information collected from you in connection with your Registration
for a seminar, conference or event, we monitor and track usage of this Site,
viewing and traffic patterns, user behavior, and other similar information.
We compile the information into a statistical aggregate. We use this aggregated
information as well as the personal information previously provided for internal
business and administrative purposes, including to improve the Site, Provider
Offerings, our operations and customer service. We also might use your personal
information from time to time to send you notices about upcoming events, special
offers, new products, services, promotions and other similar information.
4. Information Provided to 3rd Parties.
We provide your name, mailing address, e-mail address, telephone and fax numbers
to seminar, conference and event Providers to enable them to complete and
fulfill
your registration. Other than these seminar providers who need your information
for the registration process, we will never share your contact information
with any other organization. We do not sell our mailing list. If the SIS
site is co-branded with another entity, we may share information collected
with
the co-branded partner. We do provide aggregate
information about site usage and traffic patterns, stripped of any individual
identification, to third parties, to comply with various reporting obligations
and for business or marketing purpose.
5. Security.
When you search and enroll for a seminar, conference or event, or access
your account information, we offer the use of a secure server that encrypts
all of your personal information, before it is transmitted to us, to prevent
unauthorized access to your information. We also offer the option of providing
your information over the phone.
6. Cookies.
Cookies are a feature of your Internet browser that allow information you
enter in a web-site to be carried through that site for easy access. Cookies
are files that your Web browser places on your computer's hard drive. These
files allow you to easily access your customer data on a web site, providing

have previously entered and have no inherent capacity to track or collect other
information. SIS currently uses cookies to monitor activity from its partner
sites and identify the sources of registrations. At a future date, we anticipate
the use of cookies to support our users' search and registration sessions. When
SIS commences this use of cookies, SIS will not and cannot use cookies to retrieve
personal information about you from your computer unless you have knowingly
provided such information.
7. SIS Privacy Policy Changes.
