Detailed Overview/Outline

The Cisco ONS 15454 is a fast and powerful yet easy-to-use optical platform that lowers the cost and increases the efficiency of DWDM and mixed DWDM/TDM networks. You will have the opportunity to learn to operate and test the Cisco ONS 15454 Multiservice Transport Platform (MSTP) system through classroom instruction and hands-on training. Working in small groups of up to three people per node, you will complete a wide range of tasks covering many system features and functions. At the end of class, you will have the opportunity to work with the ONS 15454 MSTP system in an open self-directed lab.

This class does not cover the basic TDM functions of the ONS 15454.
