Detailed Overview/Outline
A common difficulty for managers is balancing their day-to-day workload while trying to complete high priority "special" projects. These projects typically have a deadline but no additional resources are provided, causing managers to draw support from existing staff and equipment. If managers are unable to balance the impact of these special projects, both the project and other productivity fall short of expectations. The keys to completing projects are clarification of the goals, planning to meet those goals, and managing the project according to the plan. This one-day workshop provides managers with the basic project management tools needed to:
- Analyze a project and develop a workable plan to complete it on time
