The speakers for this program have been chosen for their knowledge and experience in the areas of real property foreclosure, personal property repossession and bankruptcy, as well as for their ability to present current information in a clear, concise manner.
You will get a basic overview of bankruptcy law as it relates to foreclosures and repossessions, as well as an update on the effects of the recent bankruptcy amendments' effect on the relevant portions of the Bankruptcy Code. In particular, you will learn the immediate effect of bankruptcy on a foreclosure or repossession action, as well as the provisions of the Bankruptcy Code and rules that govern the rights of the various parties during the bankruptcy proceedings.
