What You Will Learn:

  • The principles of refrigeration and air conditioning.
  • Maintenance and repair of refrigeration & air conditioning equipment.
  • Fundamentals of electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
  • The provisions of the Clean Air Act amendments, specifically Section 608 and the regulatory requirements to recover, recycle, and reclaim refrigerant.
  • The principles of matter, heat, and the basic refrigeration cycle, using cooling principles to work on an actual vapor-compression system.
  • The safe handling of refrigerants, refrigerant classification and applications.
  • How to use instrumentation and test equipment to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot air conditioning and refrigeration equipment; specifically-manifold gauges, recovery machines, vacuum pumps, micron gauges, electronic scales, and leak detection equipment.
  • The operation, maintenance and repair of refrigeration components; including compressors, evaporators, condensers, and piping systems.
  • The fundamentals of diagnosing and corrrecting malfunctions in system components, controls, and accessories.

Continuing Education Credit

This course is authorized to grant 2.1 Continuing Education Units. CEU award certificates, personalized with each registrant's name, will be provided to those attending at the end of each seminar.

Seminar Schedule

In order for everyone to get the most out of our sessions, all seminars start promptly at 8:00AM and finish at 4:30PM. NTT, Inc. reserves the right to amend this schedule. When you attend an NTT seminar, we'll provide refreshments plus a lunch from 12:00PM to 1:00PM. This saves you the time, trouble and expense of running out for a meal. As an added benefit, it provides you with a great opportunity to talk with others in your field and share ideas and experiences.

No Sales Bias

NTT, Inc. presents a completely unbiased training seminar and view of the industry. You may be sure that NTT material will be presented in a totally factual method without the inherent sales bias present in many manufacturer-sponsored seminars. To generate free and open exchange of information, tape recording of seminar sessions will not be permitted.

Satisfaction Guarantee

If you feel you did not receive your expected value from the seminar, and NTT is unable to remedy the situation to your complete satisfaction, we will refund your seminar fee.

NTT Contact Hours

For each day of training, you will receive 8 NTT Contact Hours and a personalized Certificate of Completion. NTT Contact Hours may be recognized by your professional board. Please contact the Licensing and Regulation Department in your State to determine if these contact hours can be applied to your license renewal requirement. Please contact NTT if you have questions or require additional information.

Registration Policy

Not sure of your schedule? Don't let that stop you from reserving your space. REGISTER NOW! If your schedule changes, you may move to a different seminar or send a substitute at no charge. Cancellations received up to 14 calendar days before the seminar start date are refundable, less the $50 registration fee. Cancellations received inside 14 calendar days from the seminar start date can be credited to a future seminar. Credits must be used within 12 months from the original credit date. Be sure to request a cancellation number. The $50 registration fee will be retained for all cancellations and no-shows.

Hotel Accommodations

NTT, Inc. reserves a block of rooms at the host hotel for your convenience. BOOK EARLY - This block of rooms will be released back to the hotel approximately 30 days from the seminar start date. Within 30 days of the seminar start date, the rooms are booked based on availability and lowest available rate. NTT will send you complete hotel information the same day we receive your registration. Please make reservations directly with the hotel, and be sure to identify yourself as being with the NTT group to take advantage of any discounts that may have been negotiated. Hotel accommodations are not included in the seminar fee and are not guaranteed with your registration.
