Seminar Brochure

Examine real-life cases where patients have multiple or difficult diagnoses involving warfarin, including managing major drug-drug interactions, monitoring of children and infants, determining temporary discontinuation and safely bridging therapy.

There is ample evidence that the strategy of using warfarin to prevent blood clotting is effective. However, there is little evidence of how to manage individuals taking warfarin. It can be one of the most complex and potentially dangerous drugs if dosage levels are not monitored properly. A variety of clinical situations present challenges for the practitioner caring for patients taking warfarin.
