He has done over 6,000 psychological and psychiatric evaluations and has treated people with bipolar disorder for over two years at a county prison and over six years at the Caron Foundation (one of the top three drug and alcohol rehabs in the country). His rich experience also comes from personal experience, as his mother was bipolar and also has a family history of the disorder, atypically on the female gene.

He insists on more than an intellectual understanding of the bipolar disorder. To treat this disorder in a state of the art way, one must have a FEEL for it.
