Full Seminar Description
This lab-intensive seminar will discuss the origins of CST and it's efficacy in manual therapy protocols. Discuss the normal physiological motion of the craniosacral system and how the system influences overall health. Learn to palpate and assess inherent fluid motion in the body and become aware of restrictions or limitations in that flow. These restrictions or limitations cause symptoms such as chronic pain, central nervous system dysfunction, learning disabilities, coordination problems, chronic fatigue, TMJ dysfunction, seizure disorders, hormonal imbalances and more. After learning to identify restrictions located in the body, you will practice techniques to release those restrictions, empower the body to embrace significant change and become symptom-free. By adding CST to your practice you will gain a deeper understanding of each individual's pattern of dysfunction and the skills to facilitate their unique process. 6 CEUs. Fee per person EARLY BIRD 10 days before seminar: $179, $169 each for two to four people, $159 each for five or more. Fee per person REGULAR less than 10 days before the seminar: $199, $189 each for two to four, $179 each for five or more. This exciting and interactive seminar will explain how CranioSacral Therapy helps alleviate a range of illness, pain and dysfunction. Develop palpation skills to evaluate the Craniosacral System and identify original causes of pain and dysfunction.
Oftentimes our clients/patients present with a range of symptoms that either do not respond to or have limited success with standard treatment protocols. Debilitating pain, stress and strain keep them searching for relief from a variety of practitioners to no avail. Craniosacral Therapy (CST) is a method of alternative medicine that involves manually applying subtle movements to the cranium, sacrum intracranial membranes and spinal meninges to bring the central nervous system into harmony. The beneficial effects of CST include: re-directed fluid flow to increase nutrients to cells and tissue, more efficient removal of metabolic waste, increased electrical communication, release of tension and stress and rebalancing of the autonomic nervous system. When included with other treatment programs, CST has been shown to increase successful results.
