Detailed Overview/Outline

Examine the physical and emotional benefits of aromatherapy massage. Determine how to find the most appropriate oils, learn how to perform raindrop style massage and outline how to use oils for relaxation and improved immune function.

Aromatic essential oils have been around for thousands of years. The healing properties of essential oils are widely known, yet many health care practitioners are not aware of the specifics of their use. Massage Therapists, in particular, can benefit from knowing the proper application techniques of such essential oils. However, practitioners must learn how to choose and apply oils correctly and safely to receive any true benefit from their use.
