That said, many leaders do not know how their leadership creates both clarity and confusion, and what they need to do to be consistent in how they lead. Our premise is that all leaders have gifts and deficits that need to be understood and leveraged to create alignment and growth. The most successful leaders are people that not only know their weaknesses, but who are able to surround themselves with people who complement them. Most of us try to hide our weaknesses and work harder to compensate for what we are not good at.
